Shaka, my Congo African Grey Parrot. Her pupils are black holes!
Had the 36mm extension tube on. It's very, very hard to take a macro sort of shot of a bird in perpetual motion!!
PP - rotated, cropped, levels, white balance, increased contrast, sharpened, touched up a couple of spots on her pupils, dodged/burnt a little on her face, colored a too-orange spot to match the surrounding area, resized, sharpened with noise reduction, added border. |

| beautiful shot with nice patterns. I like the shift from the soft feathers on the left to the more textural ones on the right. Birds eyes always remind me of elderly people. This feels wrong vertical. |
