Date Uploaded: Jul 17, 2011

Pretty much a re-take of my 2nd ever challenge entry, from way back in January 2006. My son had been hassling me to take him to photograph this building so I thought I'd try it again for this challenge.

Nothing special about the editing. Shot in RAW and used ACDSee Pro to make small crop and boost contrast and saturation a little. Resized, added border, sharpened, converted to JPEG.

Nice clean simple shot - border works well picking up on the door and window.

I like these kinds of shots. So simple, yet it has a great look and feel to it. So I guess you're liking the DA 70mm.

This is simply stunning! Everything about this works together for a very simple yet striking image. Enough detail in the whites of the door and window frame, the blue not over saturated. Very well done! My choice for first place.
