| Congrats on this fine shot. Well worth the 3am rise. The shot has a wonderful balance and the stillness of the morning comes across very well. So, this rounds out all three ribbon colors :) |

| Yup. I'm the only one to ever notice that. Did give it a 6, however, but I couldn't give a higher vote when it had such an easily avoided problem. Lots of wow factor can overcome many things. |

Phew! What I wouldn't give to be fishing that early in the morning...
Wish you had a more still water to give some crisp reflection - that would've made it a perfect 10. Wonderful capture as is. |

| Wonderful scene. Major nitpick, however. You have used far too much JPEG compression when you saved this, and I can see some compression artifacts in the sky around the tops of the hills. The 85k file size supports this as well. With a 300k limit, you could have used much less compression and your image would have had greater clarity. Compression kills detail. Always use as little as you can and still fit into the challenge specs. As it is, I will probably be the only one to notice that aspect and I do expect this to perform quite well. |

| Lovely soft pastels that would have done great in the pastel challenge. The way the dark trees on the left balances out the long flow of the far shore is perfect. The decision to put the main line on the upper third works really well. 8 |

| Beautiful capture, i like the fog rising from the lake and mountains!. Love the color palette! Since this was advanced editing I would have burned the blacks even more and made them pop. That would have also sharpened the trees and mountains in the back! 6 |
