 this is my good friend danny beirne, one of the most incredible boogie-woogie piano players you can ever hope to experience. he's also one of the nicest guys you could ever meet.

this is pretty much straight out of camera, except for some slight adjustments and a crop.

i'm hoping this image will just SCREAM at the viewers, but i'm probably asking too much ;-)

i expect the usual suspects will like it and the rest will blow right by with 4s and 5s, but that's ok. danny loves it, the bar owner loved it enough to cover my bar tab in exchange for a print, and i'm just groovin on what can be done when you explore your imagination rather than trying to take perfect pictures.

Awww, Skip, Those low scoring people must have had their "ear-lappers" over their eyes as well as their ears.

I'd love to know how you did that. That screaming yellow across the composition just puts the coda where it belongs.
