I love the concept: I only wish the front hoof was better exposed and visible. I appreciate the effort to capture this, and the goal is to show the 'source' of the thunder, but it would have maybe been a stronger image to show just a bit more leg. (My $0.02)

Interesting composition would be even better cropped a bit more at left so hooves aren't so dead center. I like the monotone and good focus.

Nice non-obvious use of sound. Nice cropping too, I can tell it is a substantial thundering horse even with just the legs.
