With hindsight I can now see you used the D80. Its CCD is fabulous for bright crisp colour, better IMHO than the newer CMOS of the D90 on up, especially at low ISO. I love mine and will not sell it for something "better".

I've seen a lot of shots of the Golden Gate bridge, but this perspective is new to me. I really like the catch of the ship and gull in the scene. Balances it out perfectly. (And enormous cargo ships are just way cool)

I never get tired of this scene. The distal hills are spot on, beautifully rendered color, texture, and tones. IMO, the foreground and bridge, and likely the boat, are not realistic in color rendition when compared to the background. Other than that, another wonder capture of this vista, due largely in part to the hills and seagull.

Always love the golden gate. Surreal colors. Great composition. The fog, the bird, the colors - some magic in the air. Nicely done.

I really like the two highlights of red. That helps accentuate the scene in multiple ways. Plus the movement of the bird vs the boat adds extra dynamics. Well done.

I really like this image. Seems you had everything come together. There is nothing better, than a shot like this.
The chance of the boat being red. The gull flying overhead. Then the comp, light , depth of field and exposure of the shot. Yeah, great job for sure!

I have to say that I have seen so many shots and angles of this location but yours is one of the best I have seen. It is different than all the rest. Love how you titled it and how the ships color matches the bridge.
