I might have titled "2 nesting chairs in front of window in abandoned cottage" but I didn't.

I could say that I had quite a few photos demonstrating the abandon of their subjects. I might also say that the chairs in this photo looked more like chairs in an uninhabited environment before I found the lovely colours and shapes by moving some sliders in Irfanview. (A case for DQ as per recent discussion?)

But Nadine's comment says what the exercise is all about: giving ourselves permission to explore, both in making and seeing photographs.

Nothing wrong with an abstract image, but it should show at least some clue that there is a connection to the challenge.

In a previous challenge I said to Cutout: "even if you would say it's a cow in a pink tutu..." Now I say: "even if you would say cat in the window" : I'm starting to like images like this one more and more. The title guides us to what we are supposed to see, but somehow the viewer has the possibility to let work his/her own imagination.

I'm not seeing how this demonstrated Abandoned Buidings...I don't even see a real chair here. I do not mean to come across harsh - just do not understand this photo.
