Wonderful depth a great photo

challenge met. good title. i love the clouds and how they open up just around the moon. good photo. i think the frame does not work well with this shot ... it's the only white thing and makes the clouds look even more yellow than they are. but that may just be my personal taste.

I really like this! The moon just seems dwarfed by those clouds. The colours are strong and the composition is really tight. Nice work.

Nature at it's finest

Beautiful shot, you did a great job of lighting the clouds. LOL I'm not sure if the moon adds something here or not. Good border for the shot as well. DPz

Interesting colors. The orange clouds are strange to me, but I'm not familiar with filters and such. The little moon looks great. The border is good for the photo. I think the angle and framing/cropping are also good. Having the mood in the center does not bother me here because it is actually a bit more to the top of the photo, and it's ballenced by the clouds. Good luck in the challenge.

Nice positioning of the moon! Cool shot.

I love cloud shots (in fact, my entry is a cloud shot this challenge). I really like the composition here, and the moon in the center is a huge bonus, and actually 'makes' the shot! I see some red/purple/green/bluish artifacts in the midtones and in the blues of the sky. This is a tough situation to get rid of, especially with the 'no spot-editing' rule. The best I have been able to do is desaturate the reds, greens, and magentas, and to lower the saturation on the yellows (not all the way). I then run the despeckle filter, then an unsharp mask. I believe this is all legal, and it's the best combination I've come up with to clean up cloudscapes. Nice shot and good luck! smellyfish1002

Gorgeous clouds! Love the peak at the moon too. I'm a bit of a post-processing junky..but I'd love to see this run through a light cleanup with neat image...may give it more of a heavenly look. Great job :)

I really like that the clouds are not all one color. This really adds depth and drama. Really nice:) Shiiizzzam

Nice composition, but the moon has been touched by man.

Nice sky shot. Caught those clouds at the perfect time! they frame the moon wonderfully... and the sections of blue behind the clouds works great. Well done.
