Ansolutely no processing on this. This is what happens if the bird is in the right spot in the morning. Bright light on the railing, deeply shaded woods behind.

Though I didn't include the window, this was shot through one of the two windows where I do most of my backyard bird shots.

Nice shot!
I actually thought it was you because i'm pretty sure you hung up a white background in to catch pictures of the blue birds, and im preeeettttyyy sure you can see some squirrel feed on the wood right under the bird ;)

For such a strongly lit bird, how did the background get so black - the processing adds impact definitely, but at the sot of making it look unnatural.
