Actually, 10,000 feet above sea level. So, not much hurricane risk, but this sunrise warns of a change in the weather for the worse. Indeed, the following three days were cold and cloudy with much rain.

No saturation added. I sometimes think the people who have never seen the long wavelength at high altitude are skeptical. This is the way it looked to my eyes.

I'm standing on a mountain in RMNP at 10,000' feet above sea level. The sunlight is coming from a horizon several hundred miles away. This amount of atmosphere, through which the light passes, filters all but the longest wavelength light, hence the reds, magenta and orange.

Very interesting treatment on this one. I love the contrast of the trees in the valley, but the high saturation has created a bit of an issue just above the sun. I'm pleased with the low amount of noise on the clouds, I know that can be tough! Well done.

The technicolor magenta and purle is a bit unreal, but definitely gives this some "oomph".
