 3 generations - me, my mother, and my 16-year old.

Post Challenge: WOOHOO!! I was hoping for a top 10 but 4th place is wonderful! As some of you know, we moved my 84-year old mother in with us in June because she's at that age in life where she needs some help. She had lived in California most of her life so moving to Texas has been a challenge to say the least for her. I asked her if she wanted to "model" for me and that seemed to perk her up a bit. I used her for the Film Noir challenge and she had SO much fun and forgot about her aches and pains that I thought she might like to model again. The Three Amigos shoot was SO much fun and we laughed and laughed. Every day this week she would ask me "so, how's our image doing?". I would tell her the score and read the comments and she really enjoyed the attention. Thank you ALL so much for the great comments and high score. Now, I'm thinking of throwing my mama in the grape vat and shoot her stomping grapes like on I Love Lucy (for the Wine challenge). LOL

This is such a fun image....and I love the story behind it. Your mom did great, and I hope to see her model more often here. Glad she, and the whole gang, had fun shooting these images. You can see the fun and laughter oozing from this image. :O)

How sweet!! (your Mom) What a wonderful way to draw her into her new life!!! Think I'll go do the same to mine, she turned 80 yesterday... I love Mommy's!!!

I love this. Are you familiar with Vera Curnow? She is the founder of the Colored Pencil Society of America, and this reminds me strongly of her work. (Except she'd have older models.) 10
