 Put powder all over my face and head, stood next to a background and took a picture. In post I painted the background white, dodged on my face to get a more even look, added a gradient and increased brightness a bit. Not sure what people will make of this or if it even fits the challenge but I like it.

The brightness of the monitor that this is viewed on really makes a difference to how it looks

Very happy with the result a new personal best, my first top twenty and two faves

Thanks for the comments, really happy with the result for both the challenge and the picture. Enjoyed taking the shot even if my wife and daughter thought I was losing it. The editing wasn't anything too crazy, I think because I stood next to a black background and it made selecting very easy. Then it was just a matter of inverting the mask a few time to get the look I wanted.

I think this is one image that has been severely processed with multiple layers and masks. Nice creation. Because I think it is a single shot, I'll say REAL.

Definitely real. Nice high key, although on my other monitor all I could see is a face, I couldn't see the outline of your head.
