very nice image, soothing.

For this challenge, i walked down to the river on sunday evening and this is the only shot i took. The leaves are from the trees that line the bike trail, the darkness at the bottom are the trees on the far side of the river, and the sunset/clouds are at about 5 minutes past sundown. Very nice of the rain to hold off until we had this display.

challenge met. my first reaction was "WOW, what colors!". i love the panorama crop here adn the stuff in the background that's totally unrecognizable adds to this photo. it reminds me of light reflecting on whater. that may very well not be it though. my top 3 this week. :)

Very nice. I like the crop, and the vivid colours. Maybe the leaves in the foreground seem a little bit underwhelming, though, in this tight rectangle. The composition is a little bit awkward.

Nice, good coloring.

Nice job here using the sunset as an abstact background instead of the subject. Good focus on the silhouettes (and not oversharpened) and like the way you've fit thm to the cloud shapes.

Love the warm colored background and crisp black foreground. Excellent!

the 640 limit is a shame, this is a very nice wide-format image.

Beautiful clarity and color and I really like the orientation. Only nit is I feel the leaves on the right is a distraction the way they are cropped. Good job. DPz

While there isn't really much to look at, it's really pretty!! The focus and clarity on the leaves are great. simple but beautiful. appears to have no human intervention. lovely colors, great framing/cropping. I like this a lot. Great find. Good luck in the challenge.

I like the colors and choice of image size a lot on this one. I may have been tempted to pan a little to the right to make the middle branch a little less centered, and include a bit more (or all) of the one on the right. Still a great shot :)

It sure is nice to be able to get away from 649X480! NIce job, but I think it would have been even better if you had left the tree on the right out of it.

Nice panaramic view. The branch on the right is more distracting than value added, IMO. Did you try a fill flash to illuminate the foreground branch? That would have changed the sillhouette to a colored sillhouette, might have been a little more surreal. (Just a thought.) 9 Swash

Best shot of the bunch... a 10 if I could vote for it.

Nice sinuous lines and tonal mix in the background. The vegetal composition is not quite solid enough to fill this challenging format.

The choice of panarmic presentation is perfect. Over all the image creates a mood of a peace, and tranquility. On the technical side of things, I will congratulate you on a great use of DOF. Again, an excellent image, congrats!

I love the rich color and the light. The limbs provide a wonderful frame. Excellent photo ! Shiiizzzam

Very nice pic I like hte colors and the DOF

Gorgeous! Isn't it great to be able to submit these interesting sizes? I probably would have cropped out the branches on the left because they draw my eye over there too much. Beautiful though.

Lovely, great color.
The compostion could of been moved off center a bit and cropped out the far right.

Good use of DOF, captured the light beautifully, great shot.
