 The timing of this challenge couldn't have been more perfect. The day of Grace's photo shoot started out terribly, however. I dropped my camera with my favorite lens (my 85mm 1.8) attatched. Luckily it seems that only the filter is shattered, but it was so dented and stuck on there I had to scrap that lens for the day. I used a 105mm macro instead, and except for a little lost light I think it worked great. This was the second shot I took--about 5 minutes after the lens casualty. It was definitely a pick-me-up and set the tone for a great day of shooting. Grace was a trooper and looked beautiful in all of her pictures :)
