Been thinking of a family friend and their 3 year old son "Reef". He was diagnosed with leukemia before he was 1 year old. He has been through hell and back and is heading from South Africa to USA to get some much needed treatment.
This "Reef" knot shot goes out to him - not my best work I know but it is sentimental.

Here is a website with more details about his condition //www.savebabyreef.com/.
If there is any way you could make a donation it would be appreciated more than you know by the family. If you ar enot able to make a donation then please try and spread the word - someone out there may be able to help in some way.
Aparently Virgin has sponsored their flights and another Fortune 500 company is paying for a large chunk of something (I think it was their accomodation).
Together we can help this little fighter survive!

I thought this was very clear and instructive. And now I see there's a story to go with it. Thoughts and prayers for your friends' son.

Excellent stuff meneer!! Congrats on a top 10 placing and I dont see this as less than best of basic photography used to good effect. What more do you need than original thinking. Way to go. :)

I wouldn't have thought that knot tying would have made an interesting picture -- but I quite like this! Small thing: I'm wondering if it would be better if the white letters were the color of the rope instead of white. They stick out a little much. Doesn't change the score -- just a thought. :) 7

Crystal clear. When you make a book of more knots I'll buy it.

Nice. I think a square crop would have been better.
