Had a blast creating the ghost. God bless liquify!!!! Basically, this is just two images, one taken of Paula one day, and the other with Patrick on another, who stopped by for 15 minutes between appointments just to help me with this shot. He was also my Symmetry model. For Patrick's portion, I created the "set" in front of my fireplace, and used only a two light setup - one for the box on the mantle, the other for the rest of set. Then edited with a variety of filters including CEP (tonal contrast and glamor glow), and Topaz. A bunch of d&b, painting, cropping, cut and pasted the candles from one side to the other. I wanted to create a lush, melodramatic image that matched the way Poe writes. We shall see if I succeeded. I really struggled with the composition on this image, and am not totally happy with it still. The balance is wrong to my eye and cannot be fixed with the images I shot :-(
Poe-ish? Who knows. Of all the stories, this one seemed to evoke the only idea. Turns out there will be at least one other Ligea in this challenge - from my very own teammate  LevT! A million thanks to my team for their guidance.

So incredibly well done! Love the lighting and everything else! Huge congrats on the HM!
(have you posted the 7+ and no bling icon yet? I need to go find it too, because of the pumpkin carving. Who would have thought? These were such high scoring challenges!!)
