I might be wrong, but judging by the light used natural light. I think a rear shutter sync would have been a better option here...

Wish there was a bit more lighting on the pit. Is the pit on a unside down bowl??
backdrop looks a bit wrinkled.

I would bump up that contrast just a bit to hide some of the spots on your backdrop. Nice idea though!
