Interesting. I wonder if removing the pegboxes and/or taking a frontal angle, rather than one fro the upper right, would have made for a better image. That particular kind of glossy, dark material in the egs and keyboard is always a bit tricky to manage and the loss of detail due to the shallow, but not quite, DOF detracts a bit from the image. Possibly, putting the pegboxes completely out of focus or focussing on these while blurring the rest would have worked. Or possibly a polarizer on lens or flash to kill the highlights while keeping contrast.(not sure if it works on laquired wood reflections, though..)

A beautiful image with rich tones and an eye-pleasing subject. I like the composition, as it seems to comply with golden ratio concept. However, my only suggestion for improvement would be to have used a golden rectangle. Had you done that, it would have been very elegant. 9
