 I went on the street again and look for something interesting. I spotted this guy on the corner. quickly i check my settings and when I crossed the pedestrian i took a snap while we were walking in the middle of the road.

this was another candid.. i'm starting to love the street portraits.

WOW.. this photo did well on this challenge. I really want to hear from those who voted 2,3 and 4. Not to shout or anything but for my improvement. Anyway thanks for the wonderful comments and votes.

Anything that I give a ribbon to will have 2s, 3s and 4s on it, almost guaranteed. The largest and most foregrounded subject is completely out of focus. Left brains have trouble with that.

Anyone voting as low as a 2-4 on this shot was clearly tactically voting down a shot they knew would do well. The sharpness, focus, DOF and subject are great in this image and it certainly meets the challenge in my eyes. I gave an 8, I would have gone higher but the man in the foreground does pull my eye since he's so prominant in the photo, even though he and the background man are nicely bokehd. Looking at it again, I wish I'd given it a 9. Congrats on your high placing anyway!

It's interesting, this photo actually pulls my eyes to the out of focus person in the foreground. It w\took a while to find the main subject.

Very effective and well captured, DOF is just right to show the features of the passers-by. Between curly hair, facial features and slightly unkempt look, there are surely enough defining features to make him very evident in an asian country. If it's not Asia, hats down for finding not just the right protagonist but the right extras too. The eyes are perhaps a bit too present and contrasty to my taste, but it might be just the way his eyes are, and anyway I am nitpicking. Excellent image.

Outstanding DOF and focus, great composition too. His eyes look a little over-whitened to me, not sure if you did anything to them? Otherwise, I really like this.
