Lots of character in the lines and wrinkles on this hand which has seen many years of work and living. I might like some contest to suggest "sailor".

Something about the lighting, the color, and the OOF fingertips makes me picture autumn. But when I read the title, I could definitely see rough Atlantic weather and big sails made taut by a damp breeze. Very good job at conveying all of that!

Interesting treatment, personally would have preferred to see the palm of this sailors hand as that is the bit that does the work, you have caught a very nice texture though ;)

I don't care for the soft haziness around the fingers, or the square crop (personal taste) but the shot is in nice focus, it shows interesting skin patterns and textures, very characteristic of a man who has worked with his hands for a long time.
