It was raining and he was wet, so that helped with the feather definition.

View NX > EV -0.6 > Sharpness +4 > Vivid > Cropped > Levels > Contrast > Masked bird from water and water from bird > Applied filter Gaussian blur to water for more separation > Added borders > SFW
