This is My son on our roof, with our dog, loved this pose, like he is trying to teach the dog a lesson.

Over 6, quite amazed really.

5 faves, wow thanks.
And a birdie from Wendy, well what more could I ask for.

A little late, but this deserves a bluebird and is the sole reason the bluebirds have been resurrected. :)

This is a cool shot that should have finished higher. I love the eye to eye silhouette and interesting lines with the roof line and clouds.

I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.

Positives: What a great silhouette and the ambiguity of the animal works really well. I really like the straightness of the edge - a wall? A roofline? Not knowing adds drama. I like the clouds too and how oppressive your treatment has made them become.

Critical stuff: The vignette will be a little strong for some.

Overall: I find this to be very effective.

Something about this feels really nostalgic, sweet, and sad. I keep bumping it up. I really hope this is a real child and not a statue.

I like the low key treatment and the unusual presentation of the slope of the whatever it is and the silhouette
