| Cliche. Look at some of the other entries. Is this a trend? Fill flash or lighting shadow on finger distracts. |

IMO you can improve the picture by giving more space on the top.. that is your hand should only occupyt the corner part and may be upto maximum of 40% in the height of the total photo.
You can try changing the canvas size with background as black and see the effect.
