I bought all of the dishes at a thrift store and then broke/damaged them for this shot (except the glass vase which I broke last year and kept for a prop). The flowers are dead weeds from my garden. I tried to make the knife rusty by soaking it in bleach and vinegar overnight but I guess it truly is stainless steel.

Thought this was one of the most creative efforts in the challenge and it made me nervous thinking it was an entry from the Drive By Shooters. I was right! Don't you love it, go buy stuff to just break it for a challenge! Congrats on top 10.

Very creative use of garbage. I like the colour of the background, I especially like the little twisted spoon for some reason. Nice and clear, good focus and composition. Highlights are awfully harsh on the knife but otherwise I love this.

I can tell a lot of work went into this. This is the best take on the "garbage for lunch" theme during this contest.

Nothing is wrong with the knife!
