This is on the windward side of the island in Kaneohe Bay. It's my first time shooting here so was fumbling around in the dark, waiting for the sun to start rising. This boat is about 50 yards offshore so I cautiously carried my gear out to where it was. It's fairly shallow here for a few hundred yards, maybe about mid-thigh deep. I had to roll up my pant legs and almost dropped my phone in the water doing so, that really would've sucked.

The weather in this area is pretty fickle. Normally it's windy and straight onshore so you need to be lucky to catch it when the conditions are just right; dead winds, an early low tide, and good cloud formations. Hopefully I can get another good day since I really want to get more shots from this area.
