Clear air moonset at 9:38 AM MST, 01/15/2012. This was the scene in Hollowell Park, RMNP. Canon 5D, Canon 200mm f/2.8L USM, f/3.2, 1/3200s, ISO 200.

The guy who wants to see a color version would be very disappointed. This image snaps in monochrome because I can do something with the powder blue sky vs. the faint white/gray moon. That's the whole concept of monochrome conversion. But, I understand someone would not know this unless they have experience in the technique.

Really like the lines in the photo and love moon in the background However, would be interested to see the colour version of the photo as for the B&W doesnt really work.

Do they make an inverting lens for eyepieces? you know, to turn the image upside down like on the frame cameras? that might be an interesting experiment for those used to the SLR realm . . . lovely shot, btw!
