How fun this was! I haven't done expert editing much, because I'm pretty bad at it, but I thought this was doable.

Here's the original tree:



It's all a combination of textures, and pictures taken at colonial williamsburg.

Thanks for the great comments! I couldn't believe a 6.5 -- it was very exciting for my foray into slightly more difficult expert editing. I'm sure the masters are cringing, but I had a marvelous time!

Wendy, this is fantastic. Those digital artists will have to start watching their backs. The master of nature photography is stepping into their realm. Congratulations on a top 10 finish with an expertly edited image. You have been on fire lately. Keep up the good work.

This is a very creative idea, well done! My only gripe is that you over-texturized the tree and background and it distracts from an otherwise good composition and photo. I feel like a more natural look would have added to your message in this. 6.

Great job. My only nitpick would be about the lantern, which doesn't looks as 3-dimensional as the rest.
