 This was just a lucky (unlucky) shot that I tried to rescue with some rudimentary editing and this came out. In view of the skulls I thought it actually works, even if it is very weird ...

I'm not a fan of the noise, but that's just me. I can tell it's a very moody and dark shot...I'm just not a fan of the style, overall. I love the composition, though!

Definitely has a "grunge edit" feel to it. The bright element of the portion of the star in the bottom-left foreground doesn't really fit with the mood.

Moody. The star thingy makes an effective intruder, it could be crawling up the wall.

Looks like it could be the background for a poster for 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' or something like that. The rudimentary editing does suit this image.

Certainly very "dark" in mood. I doubt a bright crisp well exposed image would have as much emotion as this. Luck counts :)
