| The contrast between the sky and the ground is remarkable. The texture in this photo is so rich. I particularly like the perfect placement of that lone tree that stands above the crowd of other trees. I'm glad that i am using a large desktop monitor to view this. I hope the tall format of the photo doesn't put it at a disadvantage on other voters' laptop monitors that need to be scrolled down to appreciate the grandeur of this image. I have not seen the other entries so for now i will give this a 9. |

| This is a wonderfully composed photo. The light golden colour of the hill in contrast to the moody sky and foreground, combined with the upwards angle of the hill completely draws your eye in. The only odd thing seems to be the clouds, for whatever reason they look a little off to me. Did you process them a lot? |

| This looks like it should be a cover for a book, or a movie. It's a beautiful image that has a peaceful feel. The large amount of sky included in the picture adds to the beauty of the photograph. Very well done. |
