 Post challenge: I like this more than the score it got. The nudity and the looks-like-rule-breaking blur probably didn't help.

Got a validation request about a day in.

Done with a Lensbaby at near full tilt with the camera about 8cm off the ground on a low tripod.

I gave this an 8 and thought it would be well into the 6's on the average vote. Very creative, as usual, but I overestimated the collective DPC consciousness.

I think the model takes away from the shoes... when I scrolled down to see the shoes, the image actually looked much better (in my opinion) when the image is cropped just below the hand... where only the bare legs and slippers are in view. Great choice though.

if the girl wasnt blurred I'd say there is no way her footwear is the focal point of this image lol
