    Biography: I am new to photography. Although I have always enjoyed good pictures, I have never gone to the effort to progress beyond just taking snap shots. I would now like to do that. I recently purchased a Nikon d7000 and two fast prime lenses and have decided to give up the iphone camera, except for the occasional snap. I have heard one of the best ways to improve as a photographer is to first learn the basics, and then take lots of pictures. More than just taking lots of pictures, receiving critique and feedback on these pictures is necessary.
