    Biography: I’m a 34 year old geek by trade, with mad love for vintage, photography, the outdoors, green living, good design and zombies (random I know) I currently live in my almost 100 year old on-going renovation project of a house.

    I run my own business selling vintage, I sell online so I've become pretty good at product photography specific to the aesthetic of my shop. I also work in IT at a plant nursery and have unlimited access to thousands of plants to work on my macro photography. Finding things to shoot is never a problem for me, shooting them to match my creative vision is of course the challenge.

    I'm trying to teach myself the art of photography and have been stuffing my mind full of reference books and experimenting until my shooting finger has developed a callous. My interests mainly lie in landscape and nature photography, but I am developing a love for experimenting with macro photography. While learning photography I am also learning Photoshop CS5 and Lightroom to compliment my shooting skills.

    I'm always open to suggestions and advice. I don't really know any photographers local to me, so that's why i joined DPChallenge, to learn from the best!
