    Biography: 3 years ago I hadn't a clue what "F stop" even meant but knew I wanted to take beautiful pictures of my yet to be born daughter so I bought what at the time seemed like an expensive camera, the Nikon Coolpix 5700. Well, I quickly outgrew that and have been blowing dough on camera gear ever since!

    I'm a software engineer by day (I make bits and pieces of an OS for a fruit company) and I'd say that my postprocessing skills outpace my camera skills by a long shot just by virtue of the time that I've done either (I've been a Photoshop user since v2.0).

    I'm lucky enough to live in the picturesque city of Santa Cruz, California, USA, and am constantly kicking myself for not taking more pictures of it!
