Biography: I was born in Poland in 1981. I always loved to take pictures and still remember my very first camera my dad bought me before summer holiday. It was a cheap camera bought from a petrol station. True, it was pretty bad but that's where my adventure with photography started:)
As I grew up I always wanted something better but couldn't afford anything decent until I moved to Australia at age of 17.

I upgraded to a compact Pentax and then a budget range Canon SLR. Considering how much it would cost me to develop all the photos i'd have taken to improve my photographic skills i thought I'd be better of getting a digital camera.
Eventually I got a Canon IXUS 40. But as anyone would expect it's only a point and shoot kind of toy with a few extra features so I couldn't experiment much. But then... I got my beautiful Canon EOS 350D in February 2006. I know it's from the lowest range but i reckon it's still amazing piece of equipment. So now that I have a camera that lets me have full control I am learning really fast and loving it more every day. Today is March 8, 2006. I can't wait to see how much better my photography will become over the next year. I'm glad to be a member of DPChallenge website because I don't think I will learn better and get more feedback on my photographs anywhere else.

My favourite area of photgraphy is wildlife, macro and night/long exposure. Unfortunatelly I can't do much in macro beacause of inadequate equipment. But it's just a matter of time till I can affort a nice lens and some speedlites and then I'll get into it:)
I'd love to do some studio work later on, play around with lights and eventually create great quality pictures of people.

By the way, I'm an electronic tehnician with a diploma in Electronic Engineering.

Anyway, thanks for reading my profile and thank you in advance for commenting on my pictures and helping me become a better photographer:)
