    Biography: I am a retired teacher of French , English , and European History. At present I am a volunteer docent at the Museum of Art in Birmingham, AL.

    I have enjoyed taking photos since I got my first camera when I was 14. That was many years ago and I have owned quite a few cameras since then. I had a Sony Mavica FD71 when they first came out. I bought a Sony Mavica FD91 soon after they appeared on the market. I have really enjoyed using it. It has a wonderful 14x optical zoom. However it is lacking in megapixels. I have just bought a Sony DSC-F717. I am working on learning to use it. I have also just purchased and binocam. I am looking forward to taking photos of birds as well as photos of Alabama Crimson Tide football games.

    I always have my digital cameras with me where ever I am. My husband and I are retired. We travel extensively in our motorhome here in the USA. We also love to travel to Europe. I love to take photos on all my trips.
