Lighting IV
An Exclusive Open Challenge using the Basic Editing rules.
Description
Lighting is arguably the most important element in photography. Without light, you can't capture an image. Use lighting in a creative fashion this week so that the lighting itself is a key factor in your composition. Note: This does NOT mean the light source itself must be in your photo, although it may be if you wish.
Disqualification Message: No text may be added to your submission. This includes copyright statements. Please review the challenge submission rules. Additionally, your photograph must be taken after the challenge is announced. Your camera's date and time must be set to correspond with your local timezone. Please review the challenge submission rules.
Disqualification Message: Your submission must be taken after the challenge is announced and before the deadline, based on the Current Server Time (US Eastern Standard Time) displayed at the bottom of every page on this site. You must ensure that your camera date and time are correctly set to your local time zone before shooting your entry. If the date recorded in your original image file is not within the specified challenge dates, your entry will be disqualified -- NO exceptions!
Disqualification Message: You may use only Adjustment Layers (or their equivalent). An Adjustment Layer is a special type of layer containing no image data that lets you experiment with color and tonal adjustments without permanently modifying the pixels. Adjustment Layers must be applied in Normal mode.
Disqualification Message: The use of effects filters (excluding Noise and Gaussian Blur) is not permitted in Basic Editing. Please review the challenge submission rules.
