I think the idea here is very good, and the lighting is very well done. However I found that there was too much going on. I see water drops on what I assume is a piece of glass between the camera and the glass. This makes it very hard to make out what is happening at the surface of the liquid. This also looks like it was shot in bottom of a sink, perhaps using dark towel as a background would have removed some of the background clutter.
