Explosion of flavorby susscoComment by uskesu: Nice work on the coffee explosion. But the rest of the picture I don't particularly like. What's those balckish things in the background? Why this cup? And does a splash really make better coffee? |

Explosion of flavorby susscoComment by Ja-9: to me this seems to need some straightening...the wall in the back is off just a bit and that's what my eye is battling to see...instead of the coffee/cup |

Sitting on a Park Benchby susscoComment by hesitant: I said wow when I saw it but then I looked for the negative space and it wasn't there. Its a great shot and I know how you feel when you say you just had to put it out there -I've done the same my self in the past but I've learned to stop myself lately. Don't take the low points hard - it's a great shot but in the wrong challenge. |

Sitting on a Park Benchby susscoComment by bohemka: It definitely is a "wow" photo. It's fantastic. Unfortunately however it doesn't really fit the theme of the challenge. I don't really see how negative space enhances the photo. In fact, I don't see any negative space at all. The folks here judge extremely harshly, so on top of all the technical and artistic things you've got to keep in mind, you also have to make sure your entry fits the challenge theme. It was obviously well liked, based on a lot of 7s, 8s, etc., but it's just off target. Had this been in a free study or, better yet, a night scene or bridge challenge, you're looking at a much better score. |

Sitting on a Park Benchby susscoComment by MCPixel: Great lighting, there is lots of interest in this shot. Not so sure what is your subject and where your negative space is, but overall nicely done. |

Sitting on a Park Benchby susscoComment by kichu: Lovely, but the "wow" of the photo seems to come from the bridge and the lights and scenery...I barely notice the sky, which is what I think was intended to be the negative space, right? It's more just background, I think. It's a very pretty shot though. |
