I'm not sure why I like this shot, but I do. The frame is nice - it sets off the tones of the photo. Nice job!

It took me a bit to figure out what this is. Very clever! I would never have expected to be able to make such a dynamic image out of a ringbound notebook.

A 2003 copyright statement might have given the game away, even if the addition of text was not enough by itself! Lovely image, though,

Comment by Artifacts:
Terrific tonal range and perspective in this B&W study. Gives viewers something to think about.

he technical quality of the image is outstanding even though the hair on the subject's head appears to be soft compared to the rest of the image. Perhaps a slow shutter speed captured subject movement.

Viewers will wonder about the purpose of the garment in the chair. It does not appear to serve a purpose so might be better if it were removed.

The window is not level in the composition and will act as a distraction. Intentional angling should be 15 degrees or more to be effective and meaningful to most viewers. Anything close to being horizontal should be made horizontal.

This is a good image that will score in the upper tier.

Well composed with enough detail to offset the silhoutte. A very good study.

Comment by _Io_:
The silhouette of the person is not sharp - is it motion blur, as the chair is crisp enough?
