Love the pictures of the kids, 2 nitpicks on it. First are the walls, I love the rocks on the right, wish you could have had them so that they were entirely in front of that one instead of the two totally different walls. Second which is even smaller is that everyone seems to be looking at the camera except the second from the bottom kid.

Cute photo -- I find the grass / plant in the foreground annoying and while you may find your kids extraordinary, they don't exactly invoke the thought of extraordinary in your casual viewer. This shot certainly does belong in the family photo album. I'm sure they'll enjoy it more each year they see it, look back, and remember the carefree days of school-free summer.

Another diagonal well used. Good DOF, nice contrasting colours, almost good lighting. The red leave or branch has a few hot spots. Still a very good photo. 9

I don't know how you found a red fern amongst green ones, but the shot is beautiful. I also loved the book, not that that matters any! :)
