Comment by Olyuzi:
This is a neat idea which I like very much, but I think it could have been carried out better if you had been able to hide the camera behind a curtain in the kitchen and zoom into this reflective ball.

Interesting. It's sharp and the idea is good. I think it might have been better without the overhead lights causing all the glare. Did you try it while you were sitting at the table?

Nice one. I really like M.C. Escher's work. I think you should have hold in your hand like the original litography, but then again, this one looks great.

As a side coment: you probably know it allready, but from a couple of shots like this, with a good globe and proper technic, you can capture a full spherical panorama (360º and all the way up and down).

As an example I made this small view into your living room: //217.129.14.92/qtvr26/qtvr76.html

Or you can take a look at mine, done under controlled conditions with 2 shots and the fotographer removed from the final shot.

//217.129.14.92/qtvr21/qtvr.html

Anyway, great interpretation of the challenge. Nice picture. Good luck.

Comment by brianlh:
because of the lack of detail in on the ground, it might have been nice to either include more of the sky or crop out more of the earth. the black tends to demand almost as much attention as the sky the way it is.

Very hard tones, creates wonderful horizon. It´s really complex, in shades, paterns and colors!
