But for an after dark shot this is not the first thing that would come to my mind since a shot like this can be done any time of day in a studio setup. I said the same thing to the other flower entry. For photo quality I vote 8. bumped up to 9 |

Neon Orchidby cdm36Comment by Olyuzi: I would guess this was done with a black light. I like the color, but think there is too much blue and would have preferred more of the black background showing as this adds more interesting contrast. |

Neon Orchidby cdm36Comment by tp-fcp: The strange neon coloring renders the details of the orchid very flat. Why not try illuminating the flower with different coloured lights or something. Although this has an interesting abstract feel to it, I would rather see the natural beauty of the orchid. |
