I like the background, but I think it should fill the frame. You could move the rose down so you could crop off the edge on the upper right.

Excellent choice for habit. I don't know if I would have used red for the background in this shot. I can't seem to tell where the glass ends and the reflection starts. If I was going to shot this with a mirror, I would have chose a darker neutral color and used a lessor angle on the shot. Honestly I don't think I would have tried the mirror here, instead maybe near the kitchen or bathroom sink or on a vanity to give the rich person habit feel.
