Level Centreby shardyComment by BobsterLobster: Great idea, some great colours and the dial has a lot of character. Spoilt by the reflections and levels of glare though. |

Level Centreby shardyComment by Herblacklist12: Good photo, but the reflection seems to take away from this photo. I find myself trying to figure out what I am seeing. This might be prevented with different lighting, or by taking a couple of steps back and zooming in. |

Level Centreby shardyComment by Fotowereld: nice colour, that red! The reflection on the red and the round figures just on the edges of the photo work fine for the composition..the reflection in the metre on the other hand is disturbing..it makes me want to look through the picture not at it. |

Level Centreby shardyComment by Olyuzi: Too much distracting glare in the glass and chrome of this guage. Can see your camera and hand in the reflections. |

Level Centreby shardyComment by skief: With this picture, I find myself more interested in the reflection than the subject, trying to figure out what it is, almost looks like a computer screen? Also, it is not 'dead center' it is centered horizontally, but not vertically. |

A Spring Eveningby shardyComment by BobsterLobster: You've caught a lovely moment in the sky with it's corresponding light on the water, it's almost a shame there's your main subject in the way. I can't help feeling though that the use of light in the background is the most interesting thing in this shot and should have been exploited more. Again, there are some beautiful silhouetted hills in the background I would like to see more of. The structure in the foreground really doesn't interest me that much and it's composition here is unimaginative. It is silhouetted, but there's too much interesting clutter behind it for the silhouette to really pop out. There's a lovely mood to this shot though. |

A Cat's Eye Viewby shardyComment by orussell: Great colours and DOF. Nice sillouette. I think if you had included all of the window frame in your composition it would have been stronger. Or even if you had just included the window sill in the composition. The window frame to the right as is, is distracting instead of image enhancing, especially with the tilt. Hope this is helpful. :) |

Winter Beach, Waiting for Summerby shardyComment by garlic: I think its a litle underexposed but that´s maybe intentional to give better expression of what you are trying to say there. Have you tried to convert it to B&W and maybe make it still more darker and increase the contrast? |
