Amyby jus6681Comment by srbrubaker: The lighting is exquisite. The model is beautiful and has a very warm expression. Nice tilt of the head and smile. I'm a bit surprised that you did not use clone tool to take out the cracks in the lower lip. And being easily distracted, I find the rectangular buckly thing a tiny bit distracting. Still, this strikes me as being superb portraiture - I am in awe at the way the skin glows. |

Amyby jus6681Comment by Brad: This portrait has everything going for it.
A pleasant pose, nice tone (good B&W processing too btw), a non-phoney smile and good lighting. Very professional work.
Well Done! (8) |

Amyby jus6681Comment by Telehubbie: Lovely portrait and model, nice and sharp where it needs to be. The only thing that I can think of to improve this (very minor) is maybe cropping more on the left and having more on the right so there's a tad less negative space behind her. If this is the full frame, just a slight camera pan to the right would do this. But I'm not a pro, and could only wish to capture something like this. Nice job! |

Amyby jus6681Comment by dartompkins: The eyes are amazing. The pose/crop is bothering me a bit. She looks like a tiny girl with an oversized shoulder. I like this better with a crop that comes into the shoulder. The ends of her hair look a bit oversharpened or just dry. I bet she has baby fine hair. A bit of spray conditioner might be in order for next time to hold the hair together a bit and give it some shine on the ends. The face is really great though. I try to point out everything I see that might be helpful. I really had to look hard. : ) |

Amyby jus6681Comment by letenele: An excellent portrait. Little comment: distracting black thing in lower left corner; always try to cover bare arms (arm skin is hardly ever flattering) or put them in a position that won't demand attention. |

Amyby jus6681Comment by snackwells: I think you nailed this portrait. Very clean processing and preservation of detail integrity. Lovely lighting and DOF. A solid 8. I would prefer that you submit a color or toned version. |
