A luminous blanketby YlgurComment by melismatica: This was a neat idea. I like the way the pattern of the afghan acts as a filter for the light. I don't care for this odd cropping however. It is also a bit small. I'd like to see more of the fuzzy texture from the throw. This is worth trying again. |

A luminous blanketby YlgurComment by borison: I just love this image. The best part is to see something so common viewed though such a new lens (so to speak). The colors and the crop also caught my eye. Good job. |

Rustroseby YlgurComment by dsidwell: This is really nice. If it doesn't give you too much noise, you might try adding some contrast or using unsharp mask at a high pixel radius and low percentage to saturate the colors more and add even more definition to this lovely pattern. Very interesting and engaging subject. Good focus. 8 |

Rustroseby YlgurComment by simbamba: Vety nice concept. Perhaps if you could have used a lightsource at a low angle you would have been able to create an image with more depth to it. |

Rustroseby YlgurComment by Sammie: Wonderful artistic picture. The rust feather looks lovely on the turquoise background - it's the perfect color combination. |

Rustroseby YlgurComment by skief: I think this would look better in portrait mode, making it seem more like a rose standing up, instead of a caterpillar. |

Rustroseby YlgurComment by drgsoell: Any time someone sees more in an object than the obvious and shows it to others the way they see it, I am appreciative. Good shot. Might have used a bit more contrast and rotate 90 degrees to the right, but still good. |
