Overall, it's a little too dark for my liking. A lot of detail was lost in the foreground land and the water comes across as just gray. The only real dramatic lighting here is in the one small area that the sun is trying to peek through the clouds.

Technically, not bad, but I find it somewhat boring - for a Best Of challenge, I am looking for the wow factor, and I don't see it here.

This is a great action capture, but the challenge said "the subject is predominately a "light" color". To me the subject is the guy on the surfboard and he's wearing a black wet suit.
