Afternoonby grainman9Comment by macrothing: Good perspective - more refined crop, especially bottom left and upper right and a whisker nudge up on the right to straighten make this even better in my opinion - tones work well and the softness enhances the image - there's a bit of grain/noise, but that doesn't work against this image necessarily, in my opinion. Felt like I was back in time, when I first viewed the image. |

WELL WORN WORLD WEARY SCENE SHOP COUNTER TOPby grainman9Comment by dahkota: I see Kandinsky, Motherwell, Pollack all combined to make a fascinating image that transcends the genre. I could hang it on my wall. For some reason I keep coming back in my head to butchershop - the red splash is probably doing it and the title reference to countertop. Beautiful find and great eye. 10 |

Flowing Musicby grainman9Comment by blindjustice: Terrific; printable. Chaotic and moving; aged perfectly by the yellow tones; perhaps go with a shiraz or cabernet on the music for a deeper, redder blood type look. |

Flowing Musicby grainman9Comment by GrayGhost: Beautiful "composition" and color. Perhaps a touch more DOF, saturation, and whiter levels would help, but this should do well anyway. |

Flowing Musicby grainman9Comment by Shan2112: very nice composition, one of my favorites in the challenge - good idea, I'm not sure if I like the yellow tone, and I know that it's basic editing but I'd be curious to see this in B&W with selective coloring to the red wine only - that would be neat - nice work :) |

Flowing Musicby grainman9Comment by 777STAN: Nice composition! Really sells the thought! I'm a musician, too. I understand the duble entendre as well as the Oops concept. However, I think this qualifies as great thought put into great photographic art.
You have succeeded!!! |
