untitledby ssenguptaComment by Gatorguy: I don't know what this is, or if it's innovative or not but for me, there is no focal point to it. It seems like it would be a background for something else. The colors are good and focus seems to be on target (I think). I don't like the red border at all, it pulls my eyes right to it and (IMO) doesn't add anything to the image. After all that, I will score this a 7 for taking chances. |

untitledby ssenguptaComment by mycelium: In some ways, this bears a remarkable similarity to my submission, but I'm sure we took pictures of different things. You've got me here. My best guess is some kind of slime mold. I just wish the focus were a bit sharper. |

birdsby ssenguptaComment by snackwells: Composition is excellent, but underexposed...this image could use a slight levels adjustment. Appropriately titled and a strong entry regardless. 7 |

birdsby ssenguptaComment by mycelium: Gooses. lots of em.
Good job not blowing out the snow... tough to do especially when your subjects are so dark. Could have used a contrast boost, though- everything looks grey. |

Peppersby ssenguptaComment by KDO: Stunning line and pleasant composition. Thank goodness for peppers and not lemons. If I recall, these are expensive little buggers. This shot, unless you took it in the store, was a spendy one. The soft blur works for me in this shot. Just a teeny complaint, petty really. I would turn the pepper in the back left so that its stem faces away, at least some degree, from the front. It is too close to the same positioning as the one in front of it. Other than that, this shot works well for me. 7 |

Peppersby ssenguptaComment by Beagleboy: Really too bad that those those two stems are pointing at us. It would have made for a cleaner image if they had been pointing towards the back. |
