White-Water2.jpgby sofapezComment by Jinjit: It's beautiful. The lighting is so wonderful!
Well, I think that for triangles your actual entry was a lot better, but this one is still a great catch.

Sandborn IN_001.jpgby sofapezComment by Jinjit: I love the colors and the texture here.
I think this one is a wonderful catch!
I like the contrasts between the green grass and the dry plant and the very bright and vivid colors to what seem to be an abandoned place.
the only suggestion I would have here is fixing that tiny right tilting by rotating the photo tiny bit CCW.

Reflectionsby sofapezComment by Kathy: This is one of my favorites. Beautiful. Achieved a peaceful softness, without sacrificing the crisply defined object - the Triangle! (a lot of entries forgot that point.) 10 |

Reflectionsby sofapezComment by sibeling: Very nice - minor complaint: I would have like to have seen the whole of the tree, but from the reflections, it looks like there's a line of parked cars or something, so I can understand the crop. |

Fever Dreamby sofapezComment by tristalisk: Wow i'm suprised at how low this one ended up. I thought it would have done alot better. I had given this one a 7. |

Fever Dreamby sofapezComment by metoecus: I'd find this far more interesting of there was some recognizable feature in this image. Even a feverish abstract will have more impact if there was a hint of reality present in the mad wash of colors. |

Reflectionsby sofapezComment by cpanaioti: I see two different compositions in this image. One using the symmetry of the railing and its reflection and the other with the railing, tree and bench.
For the latter, cropping most of the reflection and not cropping as much on top would make a very tranquil image. To exploit the symmetry a vertical composition might work better and I don't think the tree and bench are needed.
In either case, more contrast would probably increase the impact of the image. 6 |
